Do you have a private tasting room?

No, NBVW is a private event space. Our tastings require 8 or more people by reservation only.

Are tours mandatory?

The tours are included in every event package we offer. They are optional but do not alter your event cost.

How long are tours?

Depending on group size, tours range from 20-30 minutes.

What will we see during the tours?

You will be walked around the 3.5 acre property going through the vineyards, botanical gardens, koi ponds, and the perimeter of the private residence.

Can I bring in my own music?

Yes. We have an iPod dock if you wish to play your own music during the event. We have a list of preferred live musicians that we use, but you may also bring in your own live music.

Are children allowed?

 Due to insurance, we do not allow minors 13 and under during events.

Is there a guest minimum?

Yes, for our Tour and Taste we require a minimum of 8 people in your party. All other packages, we require a minimum of 15 guests. Final guest is due 10 days prior to your event. Any time after that, you may increase your headcount but cannot decrease. 

Do you provide other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages?

All other beverages may be purchased through NBVW no later than 14 days prior to your event. We do not base it off of consumption.  Please provide an exact amount of beverages needed. Filtered water from a dispenser is provided at every event. Champagne, Orange juice, and Cranberry juice is provided for our Champagne Brunch option.

Can I decorate for my event?

Yes. We do allow outside decorations for special events. Please ask NBVW event coordinators if you are unsure of any items that may be unacceptable. NBVW does not provide staff for loading and unloading or any materials/equipment needed such as tape, scissors, rope, ladder, extension cords, etc.

Can I drop off desserts and decorations before my event?

Desserts and decorations may be dropped off before your event. 

Can I bring outside desserts or food?

Desserts, such as cakes or cupcakes may be brought in. We do not allow outside food on the property unless it is from the caterer used for the event.

Can more wine be purchased for events?

We provide enough wine during events for your guests to enjoy at least 2 glasses. More wine can be purchased if necessary. 

Are you able to ship wine?

We are able to ship our wine. For more information please contact our office at 949.645.2200. 

What happens if it rains?

Most of the property is outdoors. In the event that it does rain, and your party is small enough, we can provide the wine cave for your event. Tents are available for rent 5 days prior. If the weather changes and you do not need the tent, please notify your NBVW coordinator 3 days in advance for a full refund.

What time slots are allotted for my event?

Events are 2-3 hours. Additional hours will be charged at $250 p/h

Do you have a space for meetings?

Yes, our Wine Cave can hold up to 60 people for any and all meetings or events.

Do you provide AV or PA systems?

We can provide both to rent which would be added in your site fee.

Do you offer heaters or umbrellas?

Large stationary umbrellas are provided outside of the Wine Cave. Heaters can be rented for $50 each which will be added to this site fee.

Do you provide Valet?

Valet is required for 25 or more people and will be added to the site fee.

Do I need to put down a deposit?

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your event date. The final payment is due 10 days prior to the event.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, cash and checks made to Newport Beach Vineyard and Winery.

Can my guests modify their food choices?

Modifications are not allowed the day of your event. Pre confirmed menu modifications can be arranged with your event coordinator. Notify the event coordinator for any and all food allergies.

Can I bring in games?

Outdoor games like Jenga and Cornhole are allowed. A Bocce court is located next to the Wine ave. Please ask a NBVW Coordinator if you are unsure of any games that may be unacceptable at the winery.

Can I schedule a site view with the Newport Beach Vineyard and Winery Events Coordinator?

Site views may be scheduled Mon-Fri from 11-5pm.

Can I have an extra table for gifts, games or dessert?

A tall barrel table may be used as an extra table for gifts, dessert or cake. If a larger table is needed, you may rent a table that will be added to the site fee.

Do you provide tables, chairs or linens?

Depending on your event. Tables, chairs and linens are provided and added to the site fee.

Are my guests provided with menus?

We can provide printed menus for your guests. Please notify your Event Coordinator 10 days in advance.

Can I have my wedding at Newport Beach Vineyard and Winery?

Yes. Newport Beach Vineyard and Winery hosts wedding ceremonies up to 60 guests and/or a reception up to 300 guests. All wedding ceremonies and receptions are a case by case basis. On occasion, we can accommodate more guests. Please contact a NBVW event coordinator for more details. *On-site minister available for additional fee*
